Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!

Here you will find my art galleries, resources and tutorials, my favorite stuff and other personal things! I'm new to css and html, I'm having fun experimenting around and trying to make things work.

Note: I am the creator of most of the drawn dividers and icons, so please don't take those! However, I'm not the creator of the various pixels, blinkies etc.

Selkie costume update!

2025-12-20

Progress has been slow but progress has been made! With the cold days and not being able to access my sewing machine very often, I haven't been able to progress as much as I'd like. But I still did a few things and actually finished the seal head!

Last time I shared a picture of the complete furball that was the head. I did a lot of shaving, lots of fur in my nose and in my mouth, but it actually looked like something finally!

I then painted the nose around the nostrils, and added some black around the eye holes and the whiskers to add more details

I'm not sure I'll add spots, I feel like it's gonna ruin the look, especially if I have to do some on all of the coat.

The eyes are plastic balls you can decorate to make Christmas decorations and such. I painted the inside a dark blue.

The whiskers are heavy fishing wire (0,7mm width I believe). I cut it into 30 cm strands and melted one hand so it stays inside the foam. I found that in a tutorial and it worked well! I added more glue inside for good measure and it has stuck so far. It was a pain to add though.

So that's the end result! I've started working on the rest of the coat, sewn the flippes, but I failed miserably when trying to add the backing. I'll try a second time and if it still doesn't work, I think I'll just glue the edges so they don't fray and won't add backing.
