First blog post and current projects!

Hello! This is my first post on my first personal website, incredible! I've been wanting to create a personal website for a while now, to share what I do, what I like, and also resources I sometimes create. I have no idea what I'm doing since i've never really worked with html, so I'm mostly trying to do something that works. And I'm adding tons of gifs here and there because they're fun.
I'll eventually add an about me page, but I have a lot more to do to make this website decent. It's going slowly, but it's going!
I do a lot of fiber arts when my brain allows, and I wanted to share the projects I am working on right now so you get an idea of what I do!

First of all, my biggest project (and the one i'm putting off most), I'm working on a selkie costume! Because, in case you haven't noticed, I love seals and selkies. I've never done any costumes and I'm not a very skilled sewist so this is tricky. Here's a photo of the draft and the updated character it's based on (my OC Siobhàn).

So far, I have bought most of the fabric (it's a start) and I'm working on the selkie pelt, aka the hardest part. I have made the skull out of foam after multiple attempts and managed to do something decent, and I have started trying to fur the head. But turns out it's tricky! Hopefully, I have enough fur for multiple attempts.

Crochet wise, I am working on a cardigan with a pattern by Autumn Olive Crochet. As a bird lover, I created a blue tit chart that matches her pattern. I'm working slowly on it because I'm lacking energy lately, but it's getting there. Most pieces are finished, I'm only missing the 2nd front pannel and the pockets, then I'll 'just' have to assemble everything. Perfect for fall!

I don't have any embroidery projects lately, because I'm trying to limit the amount of projects I have at the same time. I have what is called an easily overwhelmed brained so having too many stuff makes it freeze. I do have a canvaswork I've been working on for a while now though. It's made by a french brand called Canevas Fatal. They do great stuff and I'm trying to finish one to turn into a pillow. I mostly work on it during train trips, so no pressure on this, it will be done when it will.

I don't have any art project lately. I don't draw as much as I used to, and though I'd like to go back to it eventually, I don't really have a big project that motivates me. But I see that my skills are getting worse from lack of drawing and that's a bit hard to notice... But I also don't want to force myself to draw if I don't want to, so I'm trying to stay positive.

That's all for me! And it's already quite a bit, hope you liked my rambling about my projects, and have a nice day!
