Moving out and projects progress!

Hi hi! I haven't updated this website in a bit. I have moved out about 2 weeks ago and have been pretty busy since.

It's a small apartment meaning I wasn't able to bring all of my craft supplies, which can suck but also limits the options and that's good for my little overwhelmed brain.

As far as projects go, I have finally finished my bird cardigan! Very comfy and I hope I'll be able to take better pictures for the galleries soon.

I'm very happy I was able to finish it. Now, I'll be able to focus on a stuffed animal I have going, and hopefully start my first pair of socks!

I've also been progressing a bit on my selkie costume when I was back home. I'm a bit disappointed by it so far, I feel like it looks like a furry manatee head more than a seal T-T. I'll see how it evolves with more shaving and painted details.

I might end up saving money to commission an artist even though I'd like to do it myself, or change the pattern so I don't have the seal head but just a regular cape.

It was also my birthday! I received two books from friends I'm excited to read, and bought myself a loom frame table for embroidery.

I don't have much space for it and don't know if I'll use it much but it is so pretty!

The project on it is a white and blue sampler. The pattern comes from my grandmother but I don't have the source. I'm still trying to find it and I will eventually.

Also! On the small victories lately, I have finished a book! I'm trying to get back into reading but it's hard, and this book (even though it was very good), have been sitting on my nightstand for a few months now. I read the last third in one night because I was so hooked. I hope I can continue like that, there's a lot of book I wanna read at the library I work at.
